Planetary Change and the Real Catastrophe to Come
There is no doubt that the burning of fossil fuels and the resulting carbon monoxide releases in our atmosphere are rapidly changing our planet's ecosystem. However, there is a much more serious fossil fuel issue that has been almost completely ignored by scientists, environmentalists and politicians. In fact, with few exceptions, almost nothing has been written about the more serious issue of crustal displacement.
Humanity is burning 70 million barrels of oil a day, some estimates put this climbing fast to 90 million barrels a day. Experts on the world's oil reserves have predicted that with a few years the extraction rate of oil from the planet's crust will top out around 110 million barrels a day and begin dropping off. Modernizing countries such as China are driving the demand up by 10 million barrels a day each year. Displace this much actual mass of the planet and there is a gravitational disruption. Read more from Jonathan Spinney about crustal displacement, the real threat for 2012. Planetary Change and the Real Catastrophe In 1994, I became interested this phenomena as I had spent a number of years studying astronomy and planetary science. I had also developed an interest in planetary geology and gravity. In the spring of 1994, I nailed up a world map on the wall of my workshop and started keeping track of earthquakes around the world. I drove a small nail on every location that had an earthquake over 5 on the Richter scale. By the end of the year, I had 150 nails driven into the map! I correlated these events with the movement of planets in our solar system including the position of our planet at various times of the year and the resulting gravitational changes. I immediately began to notice a pattern to the earthquakes, a pattern that always made its final release somewhere on the Pacific Rim. What I learned from these observations was that the balancing of our planet always falls to the continental plates under the Pacific Ocean. I also realized that humanity is increasingly changing the ratios of the continental plates in the by removing billions of tons of crustal mass each month, ninety five percent of this crustal mass is removed from the northern hemisphere. by Rick Moran no santa? you have got to be kidding! "Why don't you believe in Santa?"Is it because he is referred to as a 'right jolly old elf?' or maybe it his size that causes you to question his existence, as if stature has anything to do with it. Eight flying reindeer? No, not really. As we grew older we were told that Santa was a myth and we believed it, so gone were the bags of toys and the jolly old man who managed to drag them around the Earth each December, obviously a formidable task, even when you consider the International Date Line... |
