THE KNOCKOUT By Robert Goerman

THE KNOCKOUT

Excerpt from It's NOT Sleep Paralysis! The Global Nightmare of Nonhuman Intruders

Have you ever awakened to sounds or sights in your home that made you decide "I have to check this out!" and the next thing you know it is morning? You distinctly recall exactly what it was that aroused your curiosity. You can kick yourself for falling asleep. The fact that you fell asleep is most often the weirdest aspect of the entire situation.

When nonhuman intruders are discovered in your home, the encounter will probably end in one of two ways:

1.) The nonhuman may "retreat" by withdrawing through walls, et cetera or vanishing while you watch.

2.) You will be compelled to sleep!

On July 16, 2011, (Report # 1) a married couple were on vacation and staying at a "Bed and Breakfast" on Beach Avenue in Cape May, New Jersey, USA. The husband awoke to find two beings standing at the foot of the bed. There was sufficient light coming in from the street to see they were identical in every way. Both wore dark form-fitting suits with snug hoods that resembled scuba diving gear. He propped himself up on his elbow and was about to say something when he got this very clear thought, "Something is wrong. He sees us." The man suddenly became extremely sleepy, and tried to fight the urge to lie back down, but it was no use. He felt his eyes closing and that was it. The next thing he knew it was morning and he was awakened by the sunlight streaming in through the balcony door.

In 1991, a North Lauderdale, Florida, USA man (Report # 54) woke up in the middle of the night to see a bright light in the living room. The witness leaned over his sleeping wife to see a stunted individual wearing a cloak standing at a counter with its back to him. The witness then heard a voice in his mind that told him to go back to sleep. He did lie back down for a moment, then sat up a second time, and again heard the mental voice telling him to go back to sleep. He went back to sleep.

In another Florida case, (Report # 28) a Jacksonville woman woke up late on the night of January 13, 2000 and found herself being dropped onto her bed. Close to her face, she saw a huge head on a thin body and felt a puff of breath coming from the entity's open mouth. She sensed that it was surprised that she had awakened. Terrified, she fell asleep.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Rutherford of Dagenham, England (Report # 23) were sleeping peacefully until Michael awoke to the presence of a golden glowing figure in their bedroom. He shook his wife several times, but she would not awaken. By this time, he was beyond frightened. His adrenaline was rushing. When the luminous being drew near, Michael suddenly blacked out and did not wake up until morning.

A grandmother in Puerto Rico (Report # 49) was startled awake after hearing a bang resembling a firecracker exploding coming from the entrance to her bedroom on the night of August 2, 1994. She heard the sound again, this time closer to her bed, and saw a short thin humanoid with a large head and huge black eyes walk in front of the bed and then enter her grandson's bedroom. Did her maternal protective instincts kick in? No! She fell instantly asleep. Later that night, she was woken up by her grandson who told her that a short creature with large eyes had sat on his chest and had stared at him.

In yet another case from Puerto Rico during that same summer of 1994, (Report # 48) the primary witness was asleep with her husband and toddler in the same room as it had been sweltering that night. Awakened by a frosty draft of air, she sat up and saw a pale creature floating by the dresser next to her child's crib. The creature was described as small and slender, with a large head and two huge dark oval eyes. It noticed the witness and turned to look directly at her. The panicked witness then saw the being approach and at the same time heard a message in her head telling her "I want to see you." She tried to rise from the bed three times, but was somehow prevented from doing so. This thing floated very close to her face in rapid jump-like movements. Without warning, it pressed its forehead against hers and appeared to blend into it, apparently becoming somewhat transparent. The witness felt an intense cold and headache. After that moment, she appeared to have lost consciousness and does not remember anything else.

On October 25, 1998, (Report # 36) a twelve-year-old lad from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada woke up to find his bedroom brilliantly illuminated by a light from an unknown source. At the foot of his bed stood an odd figure that was hard to see because of the glare, but it looked as if its hands were covering up its face. The witness attempted to look closer, but swiftly fell asleep.

In more than sixty percent of these eighty cases, the primary witness inexplicably fell asleep, was told to sleep or was forced to sleep. In sixteen cases or twenty percent of these eighty reports, potential corroborating witnesses in the same room did not or would not awaken. Time and again, these paranormal prowlers seemed quite surprised when one of us awakened during a home invasion.

How often do these nonhuman intruders carry out their agenda in your home while you slumber peacefully in your bed?
